The Artist Summit 2017, is THE pro beauty industry event of all events. Every two years 200 of the industry’s most driven, focused and committed professionals unite in Provincetown, MA for three days of insightful and inspiring discussion about artistry, career and industry. This year’s summit held October 1-4th followed by two days of supplementary workshops October 5 & 6th is sponsored in part by MAKE UP FOR EVER, Skindinavia, The Makeup Light, Bdellium Tools, Kett Cosmetics and IT Cosmetics.
This is the sixth program under The Artist Summit brand, the third to be held in Provincetown, MA, and brought to you by The Powder Group (TPG), the company known for creating the The Makeup Show, On Makeup Magazine and The American Beauty Tour. They are continuing their commitment to bring the pro beauty community together through unique inspirational experiences with this unique program.

The Artist Summit 2017 will bring together makeup artists and beauty professionals from all areas of the industry – from fashion, film and television to salon, bridal and beauty pros. Joining these artists will be brand owners, corporate executives and artists from the biggest brands in pro beauty for a week of education, inspiration, community building and networking. The event is open to makeup artists, salon and beauty professionals, cosmetics executives, beauty business owners and beauty students from across the globe.

The program will include broad ranging and big-picture topics presented by some of the top inspirational voices and educators in the professional beauty and creative industries including the following. Beauty Blender founder Rae Ann Silva, Kett Cosmetics founder Sheila McKenna, AJ Crimson of AJ Crimson Beauty, Alphonse Wiebelt of MUSE Beauty pro, Danessa Myricks of Daness Myricks Beauty, makeup artists Sutan Amrul, Orlando Santiago, Bethany Townes and Ryan Burke, Kreative Kommune agency founder Ryan McKnight, Chris McCarthy Executive Director of Provincetown Art Association and Museum, Form and Light founder Sarah Rigano and makeup artist to Michelle Obama, Carl Ray. Immediately following the main summit program, two supplementary days of hands-on workshops will take place with advanced artistry sessions led by a selection of presenters from the main summit program. The program will be exclusive to the 2017 version of the event, with no program content repeating in future events.
Participation in the event is limited to 200 attendees and the main program will span four days – October 1 – 4, with the supplementary workshop program held on October 5 – 6. Program fees range from $690.00 – $990.00. Workshops are at an additional fee of $125.00 for individual sessions or for a special TPG Pro member rate of $290.00 for any three workshops.
