Debuting this Spring The Makeup Show first annual Pro Awards will recognize innovation and excellence in the Pro Makeup Artist community. The Pro-driven awards, allow industry professionals and makeup enthusiasts the opportunity to vote not only for their favorite products but honor their peers in the industry. Nominations for both products and Artist of the Year have officially been announced.
This year’s nominations, were entirely curated by industry professional and include categories such as, Tools of the Trade, Prep and Prime, About Face, Concealer Weapon, The Eyes Have It, Lash Out, Seeing Red, Perfect Palette, New Kid on the Block, Artistry Essentials, and finally Artist of the Year! Nominees for the Artist of The Year recognizes individuals that are innovative, and are making a difference in the industry. Especially at a time where makeup artist are achieving more acclaim and exceeding expectation on what makeup can be. 2017’s nominees Sarah Tanno, Jordan Liberty, Eryn Krueger Mekash, and Vlada Haggerty. have all made an impact with their artistry and have established themselves as masters of their craft or have made an indelible mark on the industry this year.
